Colonial Secretary received, without any covering letter,
a proof, in triplicate, of a map of Hongkong, Kowloon,
and Adjacent Territories marked "Proof for Correction: See
Circular of 30th. April, 1908*.

This proof has now been revised by
the Director of Public Works, and I return two copies of
it herewith retaining the third for the records of the
Secretariat. The map is on a very small scale, and if that
portion of it which shows Chinese Territory were curtailed
and the margins made as small as possible it would he
possible to have a map on a considerably larger and more
useful scale than this one without exceeding the limits
